This time last year I was talking about Christmas In July and prepping for hernia surgery.
But I still managed to be a soldier of rock and roll.
I have to say, in retrospect, that having a vasectomy was much more pleasurable than having a hernia and the subsequent bruising that followed.

So much for my thinking that Palahniuk was a press darling...
See, the fact that I've had hernia repair down there already is what scares me away from having the vasectomy. There's a dude at the ahd msg board who is still in pain months later.
Sweet scar pick. Let's get a surgical pics blog going.
The word pleasurable in the same sentance as vasectomy is something I never thought I would see.
And next time warn us when you put a link taking us directly to the left side of your sack.
Well it's good to hear that a vasectomy isn't all that bad. Many knuckleheads like to wine about never having their boys violated like that. It's better than the alternatives, a rubber barrier which completely restricts all sense of feeling, or more pills for the wife to pop, or a more invasive and riskier procedure for her. Hmmm. Two weeks after my boy was born I declared to Lilly that I wanted a vasectomy. We don't need another accident...
I know what you're really growing in that garden. I see that bush in the back of the garden photo, near the brick wall.
jay - it's not violating, it's liberating! sex without consequence? during ovulation no less? and for a $30 co-pay? i'd do it again in a heart beat.
hernia surgery on the other hand...
